Israeli airstrikes killed at least two Palestinians on Sunday, including a four-year-old boy, and injured seven others, according to Palestinian health officials cited by Reuters. Strikes hit areas including Zawayda and Nuseirat refugee camp. 

Israel said the attacks followed the launching of incendiary balloons, drones and kites from Gaza and warned that it could intensify operations. 

The fragile Gaza ceasefire remains under serious pressure. Qatar, Egypt and Turkey have condemned recent Israeli strikes and urged Israel to comply with the ceasefire arrangements.
